Week of 4/15/17:
Borrowers CPA used an old address on the 2016 tax returns.
We needed to validate the this self-employed borrowers' tax returns with the 4506 form.
IRS could not validate because the tax return address form did not match the current address on the filled out 4506 form.
Seller was pressing to close escrow.
We moved the file to a portfolio lender that accepted the proof of tax return submission to the IRS and a copy of the canceled check for the taxes owed.
Loan funds! Escrow closes!!
All is good in the world!!!
