Week of 7/28/17:
Buyer was in the middle of a messy divorce with her uncooperative husband. She bought a home one year ago with hard money type financing.
Fine print in the note made her interest rocket if not paid off after one year.
Starting August 1st, her payment explodes to a foreclosure inviting payment of $11,000 per month (which she cannot afford).
We dig through her documents and discover her share of the partnership income is just enough to get her an affordable Fannie Mae loan-under 4 percent.
Loan gets approved and she isn't forced to sell.
